Council Trials
Why a Council Trials Webpage

Biodiesel has been used in Europe commercially for over a decade. Its uptake in the USA has been staggering with 150 million litres of biodiesel being produced and used in the USA in 2004.1 Germany is the largest consumer of Biodiesel in the world with 1 Billion litres consumed annually. France has mandated that petrol diesel be blended with 5% biodiesel (B5).

So if you are a council worker or in a position to authorise the trial or use of Biodiesel and your still a little worried, then this page is for you. I will update this page when possible with information of local governments who are considering or currently trialling or have trialled Biodiesel.

For starter here is a list of local goverments and councils from around Australia who have used or are considering using Biodiesel in one of it various blends.
